Custom TGMGrading Display Cases, True Showpieces!

The grading procedure of The Games Market allows the graded title to officially become part of the internationally certified video game heritage.
Among the various valuable aspects that TGM’s service offers, in addition to X-ray scanning and the meticulous care of the item to be graded from start to finish, there is the encapsulation moment: the final stage of the grading process, which is of paramount importance.
Every graded title, as we know, is placed in a special case made of plexiglass, with substantial material thickness whose purpose is to ensure a high level of UV protection. The case used by TGM was studied down to the smallest detail to make it modular and scalable, thus allowing the grading of any type of title, console, or limited edition.
Di recente, The Games Market has integrated the grading process with a service that takes that concept to the next level: the TGM Custom Cases.
This service was created to meet the need to grade objects that are part of a bundle, for example, whether it is a special limited edition at the launch of a game or a press kit. For each of these types of items, TGM is able to build a custom case to preserve everything without any risk and, above all, while maintaining the ideals of preservation and enhancement that form the core of its vision.
Let's take, for example, a vintage press kit containing multiple items to be graded, such as the original game, the official soundtrack, and informational material, released alongside the game and part of the same set: it can be neatly placed in a custom display case so as to create an exhibit piece suitable not only for private display, but also in museum settings for public cultural activities.
Custom-made cases created ad hoc, therefore, are used as an important tool for assessing the completeness of a graded item: a “historical” title in limited edition, in fact, in order to be considered complete must make it possible to show everything that was inside the bundle at the time of its release.

The custom cases that TGM builds and makes available are tailor-made homes for every type of title and bundle, studied, as mentioned above, down to the smallest detail: the cases are prepared with the appropriate thicknesses to be able to support the objects contained within them. In addition, the title must ‘breathe’ and this is made possible by creating micro ventilation spaces, so as to avoid the harmful formation of condensation.
To preserve the value of the graded comic over time, it is necessary to take proper care of the plexiglass case: keeping the product away from heat sources such as radiators and air conditioners, for example, or handling the cases by using the top protrusion for gripping (or nitrile gloves to avoid the unpleasant fingerprint effect) are just some of the important precautions for handling the cases that protect your graded comics.
