Packaging Process

Follow these steps to correctly package your items

Preparing the Item

Initial checks and cleaning

What not to do

Do not use adhesive tape directly on the product
Do not use newspaper or printed materials
Do not stack items without protection
Do not use wet or damp materials

Recommended procedure

Carefully inspect the item for any pre-existing damage. Clean the surface with a dry, soft cloth. Document the condition with photos before packaging.

First Protective Layer

Technical specifications

1Use acid-free tissue paper or foam sheets
2Completely wrap the item leaving no exposed areas
3Secure with tape only on the protective material, never on the item
4For sealed items, use plastic cases or rigid protectors

Expected result

The item must be completely covered and protected from scratches and direct contact.

Box and Filling

Choosing the right container

Container requirements

Sturdy cardboard box in good condition
Size slightly larger than the item
No holes or weak points
Double-wall cardboard for valuable items

Filling material

Fill all empty spaces with:

Bubble wrap
Packing peanuts
Crumpled kraft paper
Air cushions

Important: the item must not move inside the box. Check by shaking it gently.

Double Boxing (Recommended)

Double layer protection

For items of particular value, we recommend using a double box system for maximum protection.

Place the first box inside a larger one
Fill the space between boxes with protective material
Allow at least 5 cm (2 inches) of padding on every side
Seal both boxes securely
